During your complimentary consultation at our comfortable Vestal office, Dr. Muench will examine your teeth and determine if Invisalign is the right treatment for you. Using X-rays, pictures, and a thorough examination, Dr. Muench will assess your orthodontic requirements and recommend the most suitable treatment option. While not all patients are candidates for Invisalign, our experienced team is dedicated to providing the highest quality of orthodontic care.
If you are a candidate for Invisalign treatment, we will schedule an appointment to create a 3D computer model of your mouth. Using the advanced iTero Intraoral Digital Scanner, we will generate a highly accurate digital model of your teeth, allowing you to see your end results before starting treatment.
Your Invisalign clear aligners are custom-made for you based on a 3D computer model of your teeth and soft tissues. Dr. Muench will determine the specific movements your teeth need to make to achieve proper alignment. Invisalign will then create a series of aligners designed to apply the ideal amount of force at the right time to move your teeth into alignment.
At the start of your treatment, you will receive all of your aligners. You will progress through the series in the order determined by your orthodontist, wearing each set of aligners for 7 to 14 days before moving on to the next. Invisalign often yields quicker results compared to traditional braces, but it's essential to wear your aligners for at least 22 hours a day as prescribed by your orthodontist to achieve optimal results.
